Alain Du Sel

"Alain, you're a star!" - Britain's Got Talent

"Smooth & sophisticated with a twinkle in his eye"

- Colleen Leatherdale, The Village Directory

"Immensely popular. Invariably sold out"

- Clive Agran, Aspect County magazine

Alain is a classically-trained singer who puts his own stamp on much-loved songs by musical greats including Frank Sinatra, Matt Monro, Nat King Cole and of course Bing Crosby. He adds a few surprises, such as a spot of Marlene Dietrich or Joe Cocker.

He has performed at private events for A-list celebrities and Hollywood producers - but at the other end of the scale, Alain has been known to go busking alone for charity, and once ended up singing to a crowd of bikers, wearing his trademark sequins!

He sings with power and emotion - and lashings of cheeky charm. His infectious humour engages the audience whether he is performing his solo cabaret, or singing alongside his great friend and Bling Crosbies partner Ellie Laine.

"Lovely voice and bags of personality"

- Kevin Beale, Channel Radio

"You can *@*%ing sing!" - Liane Carroll

"Lovely!" - Len Goodman, Strictly Come Dancing

Ellie has a passion for jazz and blues and loves a song with a bit of 'edge'. A natural performer with a professional attitude, she's at home with standards by Nina Simone, rocking to Elvis or enjoying Lady Gaga's take on a swing classic.

She was honoured to be one of the singers invited to join residents from the Grenfell Tower community on Simon Cowell's charity single Bridge Over Troubled Water. Ellie was thrilled that it went to No1 in 14 countries, helping to raise many thousands of pounds for victims of the fire tragedy.

With The Bling Crosbies, she performs both jazz and timeless hits, along with light-hearted duets with Alain - encouraging the audience to join in the fun.  She also regularly sings with jazz pianist Robert Reid and with blues rock band The Black Sheep.
